For safety purposes, animals are to be under control at all times, either on a leash or in a carrier box when they are brought to the Spay/Neuter Clinic.
Appointments are necessary for spay or neuter surgeries.
All animals must have proper vaccinations before surgery, which may be given at the time of the pre-operative exam on the day of surgery. If your pet has received the vaccinations from your veterinarian, please present the certification before surgery. [Our Vaccination Clinic is open each Saturday from 8:00am-12:00pm. To schedule your pet(s) for our Saturday vaccination clinic, please call our office Tuesday through Friday, 9:30 am to 4 pm (closed 12 noon to 1 pm) at 925-608-8420.]
All dogs must be currently licensed in Contra Costa County (which includes Antioch).
Payment for all fees is due at the time of the pre-operative exam.
Food must be withheld for at least 12 hours before bringing your pet in for surgery. This is necessary to prevent the inhalation of vomit while under anesthesia.
It's important that you deliver and pick up your pet at the specified times.
For more information or to schedule a surgery appointment, please call the Spay/Neuter Clinic at 925-608-8420.
