Residents in the area impacted by the closure of Morgan Territory Road now have limited access to the roadway with one way controlled traffic. A signal is in place to regulate the flow. Engineers will be monitoring the impact of traffic on the road to ensure safety. Recent rains and the increased use of the roadway could result in additional closures.
Meanwhile, Contra Costa Water District has workers in the slide area this week as they prepare for a relocation of the District water line. On Thursday, April 27, the Water District will need to shut off water service entirely between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. for the relocation of the temporary water line.
