Delinquent Date for Secured Property Taxes Approaching

If you haven’t paid your Secured Property taxes yet, please be aware that December 11, 2017, is the delinquent date for Fiscal Year 2017-2018.

You have several options for how you can pay, but planning in advance is the key.  You can pay online, or call the Tax Collector’s office for assistance.  Keep in mind that the Tax Collector’s Office is likely to experience a high volume of calls through December 11th. If you get a busy signal, please try again later. The Tax Collector’s Call Center is open from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

However, an online payment system at www.cctax.us is available until midnight of December 11th to look up and pay property taxes by credit card, debit card or electronic check. You may also make payments on the Tax Collector’s automated phone system by dialing 925-957-5280. Taxpayers are always encouraged to pay their property taxes by the due date to avoid late-payment penalties. Please refer to the installment coupons on your tax bill for dates and additional information.

Please be aware that the County Treasurer-Tax Collector’s office is currently under construction and although the office will remain open during regular business hours, you may experience delays or longer lines than usual for making property tax payments in person. However, online and automated phone payments are available at www.cctax.us or 925-957-5280 respectively, and 24/7 for your convenience. Your patience and understanding is appreciated.
