Adopted!

Adoption Update

An officer with the San Pablo Police Department rescued this lucky dog from I-80 (he was running on the freeway!) last week and brought him into our Martinez shelter. On the way over to our shelter the officer fell in love with the dog, and decided he wanted to adopt him if an owner didn't come forward. The dog ended up not being claimed so today the officer came and adopted him! His new name is Barney, and it looks like he is already totally in love with his new dad. HUGE thanks to Officer O. for saving Barney's life, and then giving him a loving home <3
