Supervisor Gioia is a founding member of the Southeast Asian Youth Task Force, a coalition of youth service providers, law enforcement, probation, elected officials, government agencies, community organizations, families and youth. The Task Force works collaboratively to strengthen youth resources to address violence prevention, and to reduce the numbers of youth who reach the juvenile justice system.
