Energy Upgrade California is a new, statewide program that offers incentives to homeowners who complete select energy-saving home improvements on a single-family residence. By working with participating contractors, homeowners can choose from two incentive options, the Basic Package or the Advanced Package, based on their improvement needs and budget.

Contra Costa County Energy Upgrade Rebates
Contra Costa County has recieved a grant as part of the Energy Upgrade California funding. The County has elected to provide additional rebates to Contra Costa County homeonwers who upgrade their home to achieve a 20% energy reduction. The program will rebate the homeowner 20% of the project costs for any retrofit that has a valuation of $10,000 or less OR a rebate of 25% of project costs for a retrofit over $10,000.
