Kitten Season is Upon Us
It's that time of year again! Contra Costa County Animal Shelter is receiving kittens by the box full on a daily basis. There is a desperate need for Foster Homes for all of these furry little bundles of joy. Foster committments last only about two weeks. All supplies are provided. Call (925) 335-8327 for information. [This is a Foster line only. No other calls can be responded to.]

Mission Statement
It is the mission of Contra Costa Animal Services to protect the public and animals in our community, and to prevent cruelty, abuse, and neglect of animals in Contra Costa County by effectively and efficiently enforcing all state, county and city animal laws.
We will shelter homeless, abandoned, and lost animals, providing quality care for every animal regardless of its temperament or condition; place animals in safe and caring homes; and provide information and resources to the public that enhances the quality of life of animals in our community.
We will provide high quality customer service, treating all individuals with respect, professional courtesy, and integrity.

NEW SUNDAY CANINE ADOPTIONS!
CCC Animal Services Department now features SUNDAY mobile dog adoptions in the dog park in front of the Martinez Shelter at 4800 Imhoff Drive! It's not news that we have too many dogs at the shelter. It IS news that you can now adopt on Sundays.
