This Unit provides limited supervision to felons classified as “low risk” and those cases that do not meet the necessary criteria for field supervision. One Deputy Probation Officers supervises approximately 1,300 probationers.
The duties include:
- Monitoring compliance with court ordered terms and conditions of probation
- Collecting restitution to make the victims whole
- Reporting probation violations to the court
One deputy probation officer is assigned to the PC 1000 Diversion Program and supervises approximately 250 probationers participating in a drug diversion program.
