Canine Companion
Responsibilities
The work volunteers do with our dogs is important in keeping them adoptable. All positions working with dogs require specific training. These positions vary from outdoor activity interaction to working inside the kennels.
Some of the volunteer responsibilities may include:
- Grooming and bathing the dogs
- Helping people find their way around the shelter
- Assist people in making the right choice in adopting a pet

NEW SUNDAY CANINE ADOPTIONS!
CCC Animal Services Department now features SUNDAY mobile dog adoptions in the dog park in front of the Martinez Shelter at 4800 Imhoff Drive! It's not news that we have too many dogs at the shelter. It IS news that you can now adopt on Sundays.
